My main responsibilities are recruiting and onboarding of new employees, development and growth of all staff and getting them the training they require and executing the company policies.

I have worked in hospitality for majority of my adulthood. From Kitchen’s and Housekeeping to Bar Management. I have just recently joined the corporate world in May of 2025, and this is my first real experience in this environment.
I am loving it and all the people I work with.

When I first started at WEL I began in the Housekeeper’s department. This came off the back of not working for 5 years to raise my son. Now I am working alongside an amazing team in the corporate office and moving further in my own career. Also, every person I help recruit I feel like that is a personal achievement of mine.

I enjoy playing video games with my son and partner

I was born and raised In Geraldton; I am a proud Naaguja Yamaji woman.
My Partner is from Taranaki New Zealand
My son was born in Geraldton and is a Naaguja Yamaji
- What does Wajarri Country mean to you?
It is a very meaningful place for me, beautiful and red. It may not be where I was born, however it is where my ancestors come from. Through the Minangu peoples on my father’s side.
And the thought of them, helps shape me as a young person moving forward through life and now working for a Wajarri company I know they would be proud of.
