Wajarri Enterprises Limited (WEL) is committed to creating meaningful outcomes for Wajarri people and the wider Midwest community. 

Alongside our commercial operations, we support charitable initiatives that respond to real needs on the ground. This includes helping schools support children who are arriving hungry, and supporting Wajarri artists with promotion, visibility and practical resources for their creative work. 

WEL is a registered charity guided by our mission: “Engaging, empowering and investing in Wajarri Yamaji Peoples’ future.” Our charitable work puts that commitment into action, helping keep Wajarri culture and stories strong while creating practical pathways into training, employment and a more secure future.

Through donations, partnerships and community support, we aim to deliver programs that make a direct and lasting difference in people’s lives.

Choose Where Your Donation Makes a Difference

Corporate donors may nominate one of the following initiatives when contacting WEL. We will then confirm the intended allocation before the donation is made.

School Food Support (School Brekky Program)

Donations to this initiative help WEL provide participating schools across the Midwest with practical food support for children who may otherwise go without.

Funding will be used to provide:

  • Breakfast items
  • Healthy snacks

This support helps give students the energy and confidence to participate fully in their school day.

Wajarri Artist Support (Coloured Flowers)

Donations to this initiative support Wajarri artists to continue creating, sharing culture and developing sustainable creative opportunities.

Funding may be used to provide:

  • Art materials and creative supplies to complete commissioned work
  • Promotion and showcasing of Wajarri artists and their work via the WEL website
  • Opportunities to connect with businesses, buyers and new audiences

Where the Need Is Greatest

Donors can also allow WEL to direct their contribution to the charitable initiative with the greatest immediate need. This gives WEL the flexibility to respond to emerging community priorities and apply funding where it can make the strongest impact.

If no preferred initiative is nominated, WEL will allocate the donation according to listed programs above.

Help Us Build the First Chapter

Our School Food Support and Wajarri Artist Support initiatives are in their early establishment phase. Donations received now will help Wajarri Enterprises Limited launch, develop and grow these programs.

As the programs commence, WEL will record how donated funds are used and measure practical outcomes such as the number of schools and artists supported, the supplies provided and the opportunities created.

Corporate donors will receive an update on the outcomes their contribution has helped support, with all reporting handled respectfully and in accordance with privacy and cultural protocols.

How to Make a Corporate Donation

To protect the security of our banking information and ensure every contribution is correctly recorded and allocated, WEL does not publish its bank details online.

Making a corporate donation is simple:

  1. Contact WEL
    Email justin@wajarrienterprises.com.au with your organisation’s name, contact person, proposed donation amount and preferred initiative.
  2. Receive verified payment details
    Our team will provide WEL’s official bank details, a payment reference and confirmation of how your donation will be allocated.
  3. Complete the bank transfer
    Use the supplied payment reference so we can identify and process your contribution promptly.
  4. Receive confirmation and a receipt
    Once the funds have been received, WEL will confirm your donation and issue an appropriate receipt for your records.

Your organisation can direct its support to our School Food Support initiative, Wajarri Artist Support initiative, or allow WEL to allocate the donation where it will have the greatest impact.
